Focusing on the main subjects of pregnancy, the themes presented at these prenatal meetings can be adapted according to the needs of the couple. At each meeting, a document will be provided to the future parents containing the essential references related to the topic being discussed. In addition to explain the theoretical aspects of pregnancy, these prenatal meetings will allow us to practice together the important stages of childbirth and the postnatal period.

Here is an overview of the main topics:
~ Understanding physiological changes during pregnancy
~ The physiology of childbirth
~ Alimentation during pregnancy & Healthy lifestyle
~ Prenatal exercises to help prepare the body for childbirth
~ The visit of the place where the birth will happen, all together (if possible)
(This allows the future parents  to tame with this place and to visualize the childbirth smoothly)
~ Understanding medical interventions and their alternatives
~ Pain management
~ Presentation of what to bring in the bags for childbirth
~ Positions of delivery with the help of the spouse
~ Relaxation and visualization to soothe the body and mind of the future mother
~ Breastfeeding and its alternatives
~ Care of the newborn
 

Place:                         They can be done either in the home of the couple, the doula, or in a specific place such as a                                     bistro / café.
Duration:                     Approximately 2 hours
Number of meetings:    5 prenatal meetings *
